Jonathan Price and Jordan Coles appointed co-managers of AFC Llwydcoed

AFC Llwydcoed have appointed Jonathan Price and Jordan Coles as their first-team managers.

The Aberdare were on the lookout for a new manager after Matthew Driscoll stood down from his role.

After opening up the applications to social media, the club have chosen the pair to lead the club into the inaugural season of the Ardal Leagues.

Coles has experience of Welsh League football has been on the books of Penrhiwceiber Rangers. 

And he’s already got down to business. The players have already begun their pre-season preparations by training under Jordan Coles last week.

Price has experience of coaching at the club having worked with their reserves team.  

In a brief statement on their Twitter, Llwydcoed announced the pair saying: “After a long interview process with some excellent candidates, we’re looking forward to a tough season with two new hungry managers.”

The Cwm Cynon based side have also finalised their management team for their reserves side.

Andrew Price and former Aberdare Town boss Simon Jones have taken charge as another joint-managership. They have been admitted to the Reserves League South Central.
