Momodou Touray has begun training with Salford following his release from Newport County.
The 21-year-old has been searching for a new club after being released by Salford’s League Two rivals Newport County in June.
Touray has been training with the first-team of Salford, mixing it with a side which finished 11th last season.
He featured in the Ammies’ 1-0 defeat to Stockport County, coming off the bench.
Touray spent two seasons in the Cymru Premier with Barry Town United, scoring 13 goals in 51 league appearances.
The 21-year-old was named as Young Player of the Year for the league in 2019.
