Cefn Druids forward Ramirez Howarth has joined Lincoln City.
The 22-year-old has joined the League One side after a successful trial spell at the club.
He has been handed a one-year contract at Sincil Bank after impressing club bosses.
Howarth is likely to go into the first-team squad to face Crewe Alexandra in the Carabao Cup tomorrow.
“I watched a couple of games and then invited him in for pre-season,” said manager Michael Appleton on the signing of the former Ancients forward.
“He came in and from day one you wouldn’t think he would be a trialist.
“He has done ever so well in training and games. He has made an impact and is already part of the squad.”
“It is the first time in a long time I have seen a player who is so excited to sign for a club – he was like a kid in a candy shop.
“You don’t see that often and he will be a very good addition.”
Before a move back to the professional game, Howarth scored three goals in 23 appearances for the Ancients.
Howarth was signed by manager Huw Griffiths last year and the now Caernarfon Town boss predicted big things for the left-winger.
He becomes the second Cymru Premier player to join a professional side this summer after Touray Sisay joined Grimsby Town.
