Wales youth international midfielder Isaac Christie-Davies has joined Barnsley.
The 22-year-old who played for Wales U21s squad in 2018, has joined the Tykes on a three-year deal.
Brighton-born midfielder Davies was in search of a new club after being released by Liverpool earlier this summer.
Barnsley fought off interest from other Championship clubs to secure the signature of the former Chelsea man.
They have a further-year on his contract should they opt to extend his time at Oakwell.
“I’m really pleased to be here. As soon as I heard of the interest, I wanted to get it done,” said Christie-Davies.
“I watched a lot of Barnsley from last season and I was really impressed with the high-pressing style and having spoken to the gaffer, I think I’ll fit into his system.
“There seems a real good team spirit here. That togetherness really appeals to me.”
Before joining Liverpool, he was with Chelsea and was part of the Blues side which won the FA Youth Cup and UEFA Youth League.
