Haverfordwest County sign goalkeeper Matthew Turner
Haverfordwest County have completed the loan signing of goalkeeper Matthew Turner from Leeds United.
Turner will spend the next three months with the Bluebirds after training with them. He had previously been on trial with Aberystwyth Town before the season began.
He is eligible to make his debut for the West Walian side on Saturday when they travel to fellow Cymru Premier newcomers Flint Town United.
“We’re delighted to get this one over the line,” said manager Wayne Jones.
“Matthew will provide great competition to Steve Hall and Wojciech Gajda and really strengthen our squad going forward.”
Turner is an academy product of Pontardawe Town.
The 18-year-old is from Llanelli and has played for Wales U16s.
