TNS came back twice and scored late on to win an enthralling game against Haverfordwest County at Park Hall to remain unbeaten and stay top of the league by five points over the Nomads.
Goals for the Saints came from Ben Clark, a Sean Pemberton own goal and Blaine Hudson.
The away side’s goals came from Jack Wilson and Danny Williams.
In just the 3rd minute Adrian Cieslewicz had a shot in the box for TNS, but the ball just went wide of Matthew Turner’s goal.
Daniel Summerfield whipped a ball into the penalty area for the Bluebirds in the 10th minute as the away side came looking for a goal, however Ben Clark managed to make a clearance for Scott Ruscoe’s team.
A minute later Wayne Jones side took the lead as Corey Shephard delivered a wonderful through ball to Jack Wilson who slotted it past Paul Harrison.
The home side came looking for the equaliser in the 17th minute as Leo Smith had an attempt, however the ball went blasting over the crossbar.
A couple of minutes later TNS had another opportunity as Chris Marriott pass the ball to Louis Robles right in the middle of the penalty area, though the forward missed the goal completely.
In the 31st minute the Saints got level as Ryan Harrington whipped a wonderful ball into Ben Clark who tucked it home past Matthew Turner.
Six minutes later Haverfordwest thought they retook the lead with Ricky Watts tucking the ball into the net, but the flag went up for offside.
The Bluebirds looked for a second on the stroke of halftime with Jack Wilson crossing the ball across the goal, though no away player could send the ball into the goal.
Into the second half, Leo Smith took a free-kick from just outside the 18-yard area with the ball just going over the crossbar.
In the 52nd minute a penalty was awarded to Haverfordwest which Danny Williams converted to put the away side back in the lead.
Four minutes after, Adrian Cieslewicz had a shot from a distance that just went wide of the post.
Within the 59th minute Ben Clark had a header at goal for TNS, but the opportunity was cleared away from the Bluebirds defence.
The Saints didn’t have to wait long for an equaliser when in the 63rd minute Chris Marriott whipped a ball in which Blaine Hudson slotted home, of which was given later as a Sean Pemberton own goal to make the score line level once again.
With 12 minutes to go Louis Robles went through on goal, however the flag went up for offside.
In the 85th minute Greg Draper and Dean Ebbe had shots in quick succession, but both attempts were cleared away from the Haverfordwest defence.
In stoppage time TNS found the winner as Leo Smith had a shot at goal that Turner saved, and Blaine Hudson scored on the rebound to give the Saints three points.
Scott Ruscoe’s team will now go onto face Bala Town in the rescheduled game at Maes Tegid on November the 7th.
Before that Haverfordwest County will host the Lakesiders on the 31st of October.
