International Friendly: The two USA danger men Wales need to keep an eye on

Wales host the United States of America in an international friendly on Thursday evening, but who are the two players the Red Dragons will need to keep quiet?

Wales will be without manager Ryan Giggs for this encounter, meaning Rob Page will be on the touchline for their next three fixtures.

The next three fixtures will be a good chance for Wales to experiment with different players, especially with the European Championships upcoming next year, starting with a talented USA squad.

So, who are the two American players that Wales need to keep a close eye on? We take a closer look below…

Giovanni Reyna

The first player comes in the form of youngster, Giovanni Reyna.

The 17 year-old, who was born in Sunderland, England – has excelled for Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga this season, scoring once and assisting three times in seven outings.

Reyna, who is also an attacking midfielder, like Pulisic – could be in line to make his debut against Wales at the Liberty Stadium and will be hoping to make a good impression in-front of USA manager, Gregg Berhalter.

Weston McKennie

Another bright young prospect is 22 year-old midfielder, Weston McKennie. The Texas-born player is currently on loan at Juventus from Bundesliga side, Schalke 04.

McKennie has featured four times for the old Lady this campaign, registering one assist in the process.

The tenacious midfielder provides something different and his assiduity in the middle of the park could be problematic for Wales in what will be only the second ever fixture between these two nations – with USA winning the first meeting 2-0 in San Jose, in 2003.
