Llanelli Town have appointed Andy Legg as their manager for a second time.
The Reds were on the search for a new manager after Mark Dickeson stood down, with the club citing ‘personal reasons’ for his departure.
Legg, 54, has moved back into management after standing down from his post as Cardiff City’s under-23s manager in November 2019.
Bluebirds legend Legg had a successful playing spell at Stebonheath Park, playing a part in their maiden Cymru Premier title win in 2008.
Legg also featured in the Llanelli side which claimed a shock victory other Motherwell in the Europa League in 2009.
He returns to Welsh domestic football after a brief stint as Bangor City boss in 2016.
Commenting on his return, he said: ‘I am looking forward to the challenge and not looking to play second fiddle. It’s going to be a tough league to get out of but the hard work starts now.
“Given time, I’m sure that we will get it right, and hopefully, we can look forward to European football at Stebonheath Park again. I was successful last time and hopefully, I will be successful this time.”

His second spell at the club will however be in a different setting.
The club are now playing in the second tier of Welsh football after reforming in 2013 after the original club was wound up.
Llanelli had a brief stint in the top flight in 2018 but were relegated after finishing bottom.
Last season they earned a sixth placed finish on a points-per-game basis after the season was curtailed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Legg will get to work with Lewis Reed, who has been confirmed as the clubs first signing of the season.
Reed, played for academy sides of Colchester United, Ipswich Town and Swansea City.
Both will eagerly be awaiting for the season to begin as a new era begins at Llanelli.
The 2020/21 Cymru South season has yet to receive a start date however progress has been made on the season starting.
As part of an expansion of the ‘elite’ programme ran by Sport Wales, the FAW have announced their intentions to apply for the their men’s second and third tiers.
