Dane Williams has stood down from his post of first-team manager of Cambrian & Clydach Vale.
The Sky Blues are still awaiting a start date for the 2020/21 season, having last played a competitive match in March 2020.
Should the Cymru South season begin, they will do it without Williams, who has announced his decision to leave the club.
Williams’ coaches Mike Jones and Stevie Williams have also left the club.
In a statement released on social media, his parting message to the Rhondda club reads: “I’ve been fortunate to represent a club and a group of people that I have the utmost respect and appreciation for.
“Phil Williams gave me the chance to manage this club with limited managerial experience or qualifications, supporting and believing me from day one.
Williams, who succeeded Craig Hughes in May 2018, led Cambrian to the Nathaniel MG Cup final in his first season at the helm.
Cambrian also finished second in the Welsh League under Williams, before a fifth-placed finish in the curtailed 2019/20 Cymru South campaign.
Adding his to his statement, he leapt praise onto the squad he assembled; “The boys have helped me along the way both on and off the field. They have been top class and the players have been simply outstanding.
“There have been plenty of ups and downs along the way but without doubt, it’s the best group of players and staff I could have asked for.
“Thank you to everyone at the Cam Army, good luck!”
In a response to the exit of their popular manager, Cambrian’s official statement read: “The club would like to thank Dane for his commitment.
“A second-place finish in the Welsh League Division 1, beating The New Saints on the way to the Nathaniel MG Cup final was the highlight of his tenure!
“We will issue a statement with our next steps to replace him tomorrow.”
