Danny Brookwell has announced that his departure from Caernarfon Town.
This season, Brookwell’s contribution has been limited to substitute appearances than starts, coming on five times this season, compared to four starts.
The 27-year-old was an unused substitute in the Canaries’ 2-1 victory over the Cefn Druids last night.
“Unfortunately, my time at Caernarfon Town has come to an end, announced Brookwell on Twitter.
“I’m gutted, but I feel it’s the right time. I have had a great five years at the club and had some amazing memories. Massive thanks to the Cofi Army for the support over the years. Good luck for the rest of the season.”
Brookwell was brought to The Oval by Iwan Williams in 2015.
During his five year stay in the Gwynedd, he won two Cymru Alliance titles, as well as a League Cup.
He featured heavily in the Canaries two seasons back in the Welsh top flight with a return of eight goals in 27 appearances in 2018/19.
