Andy Morrison and Lewis Harling win December awards

Andy Morrison and Lewis Harling have won the JD Cymru Premier’s monthly awards for December.

Following a public vote on social media, as well as the league voting panels, including representation from Y Clwb Pêl-droed, the pair were chosen for the gongs.

Andy Morrison guided his Nomads side to four wins in the league, including a 2-0 victory over title rivals The New Saints.

His side were able to claw back their way to the top of the Cymru Premier and he has since been awarded as Manager of the Month.

Harling meanwhile was on fine form for Rhys Griffiths’ men last month, earning him the Player of the Month.

He was on target three times for the Bont, scoring twice in their 6-0 demolition of Caernarfon Town, as well as the only goal against Cardiff Met.

In an interview with the Cymru Leagues official website, Harling said: “Things have been going great for me this season.

“I probably haven’t been known for scoring goals in my previous years at this level, but it has always been something I’ve tried to bring into my game more, and the management at Penybont have always really encouraged me to try and get into the box more and score goals from midfield.”
