Wales Under-21 goalkeeper Adam Pryzbek has joined National League Chesterfield on loan until the end of the season from Ipswich Town.
The 20-year-old joined the Tractor Boys in 2019 after being released by West Bromwich Albion but has only made one appearance during his time in Suffolk.
Pryzbek heads to the Technique Stadium on the same day as fellow goalkeeper Grant Smith. He has joined as a free agent after being released from Wealdstone earlier this season.
The two will add more competition between the sticks battling against veteran keeper Kyle Letheren and backup Luke Coddington.
Ipswich Town said in a statement: “Having enjoyed youth loan spells at Braintree Town and Concord Rangers already this term, Adam will link up with the Derbyshire side with the hope of getting further minutes under his belt.”
The English born youngster represented the Three Lions at under 15 and 16 level but switched allegiance to Wales in 2016.
He has notched 15 competitive international youth caps for Cymru and currently battles with Cardiff City youngster George Ratcliffe for the number one shirt in the under-21 setup.
This is now the sixth loan spell in the career of Adam Pryzbek. He will be hoping to get some game time for the Spireites as he continues his journey trying to establish himself in the English game.
