Former Wrexham winger Jack Mackreth makes moves to Bala Town

Bala Town have strengthened their squad on Deadline Day with the acquisition of Jack Mackreth from Northern Premier League Premier Division side Warrington Town.

The 28-year-old midfielder has over 250 appearances to his name after starting his career at Tranmere Rovers where he spent seven years coming through the youth ranks.

Representing Barrow, Macclesfield Town, Grimsby and Wrexham, Jack has been a transfer target for the Lakesiders for over a year.

The Lakesiders had been in the market for an attacking player following the departure of midfielder Gary Roberts in December.

The former Wrexham man also represented Wales C in 2011 against Estonia whilst playing for Barrow.
