Newtown complete quartet of deadline day signings

Newtown have announced the return of versatile attacker Lifumpa Mwandwe, midfielder Alex Fletcher and left-back Callum Roberts, while striker Jon Letford has also signed for the Robins.
Mwandwe, 20, spent last season on loan at Latham Park, where he made 26 appearances, scoring on three occasions.
The striker, who also operated on the wing for the Robins, departed League One outfit Shrewsbury Town over the summer, where he spent six years.
Mwandwe adds to Chris Hughes’ attacking options of Nick Rushton, Jamie Breese, James Davies, Matty Williams and Tyrone Ofori.
Fletcher, 24, left Latham Park over the summer to join Stourbridge of the Southern League, but has re-joined the Robins.
The midfielder started 20 games for Chris Hughes’ side last season, accumulating 99 appearances over three-and-a-half seasons at the club.
Roberts, formerly of Newtown and The New Saints, returns to Latham Park on loan from Cymru Premier champions Connah’s Quay Nomads.
The defender joined the Nomads ahead of the 2018/19 season and won the Nathaniel Cup and the Cymru Premier during his time at the Deeside Stadium.
Letford, 26, signs from Rushall Olympic of the Southern League.
The striker made 43 appearances for the club last season, scoring 26 goals, an average of 0.6 per game.
