Naim Arsan to leave Cefn Druids after six years of service

Naim Arsan has announced that he is leaving the Cefn Druids after six years of service at The Rock.

The 27-year-old is bringing to an end his time at the club after joining them from Conwy Borough in 2016.

Over the past season, he made 23 appearances for the Ancients, scoring one goal.

Arsan, who whilst at the Druids, represented Wales C, as well as playing in the Europa League will now seek a new challenge after wishing his club well.

Announcing the departure on his Twitter, Arsan said: “After six great years at the Cefn Druids, my time has come to an end.

I could not have asked to have played with a better bunch of lads, ones that I have made memories that will stay with me forever. The biggest one was having the chance to play in Europe.

“I would like to thank everyone who is involved with the club from the volunteers to the staff for everything they have done during my time at the club.

I wish the club nothing but success going forward.

The Druids are now management after Niall McGuinness was appointed as the successor to Bruno Lopes.

They have already signed Ben Wynne, Derrick Amankwah and Dominic Hesketh for the upcoming season. The trio were all scouted from Steven Gerrard’s academy after they impressed in showcase matches.
