Three in, three out at Conwy as Lockley brothers and Williams join
Conwy Borough have swooped to sign three players ahead of the 2021/22 Cymru North season.
Ben and Harry Lockley, who are twins, have joined the Tangerines along with Cory Williams, who makes a return to the North Wales outfit.
The pair both join having been on the books of Flint Town United, with Ben making two appearances for the Silkmen in the past season.
Commenting on the signings of the two Lockley brothers, manager Matthew Jones said: “I am delighted to have secured the signings of both Harry and Ben.
“They are two players that we have been tracking for a long time and they perfectly fit the profile of the kind of player we are looking to bring into the group.
“Ben is a technically and physically strong right-sided player who can also operate as a central midfielder, I first came across Ben when he broke through at Rhyl.
“Harry is a very similar calibre player but operates on the left-hand side and is able to deliver pinpoint crosses with his excellent left foot.
“They both have an excellent attitude have settled in extremely We are really excited to see them progress with the club.”

Conwy have also confirmed Cory Williams has re-joined the club and adding to the tangerines forward line.
He rejoins the club having spent a successful three years at Y Morfa, helping the club back to promotion to the second tier of Welsh football.
The 25-year-old had signed for Caernarfon Town for the 2020/21 season but made just one appearance for the Canaries, departing in November 2020.
“I’m delighted to be back at Borough,” said the former Hereford striker.
“Having enjoyed success at the club before it holds great memories for me and is close to my heart.
“After such a long period without football, I’m just looking forward to getting going and playing under Matty and Stu again.”
Conwy, who will open their league campaign against Llangefni Town on July 24, are awaiting their Nathaniel MG Cup Round One fixture, as they prepare for the upcoming campaign.

As well as three incomings, there has also been a trio of departures from the club. Adam Pritchard and Dafydd Jones have left to join Conwy’s league rivals Holyhead Hotspur.
Jones, who was part of the Anglesey side that won the Island Games, had been a long-term target for Hotspurs manager Daren Garmey.
Garmey said on the arrival of the midfielder: “He has gone on to establish himself as one of the best midfielders on the Island and showed everyone what he is capable of in the Ynys Mon success.
“His work rate, attitude, and quality will make him a favourite here at Holyhead and we are delighted to have him on board for our return to tier two.”
Defender Pritchard, who had been subject of interest from Cymru premier sides, also made the switch.
“Technically he is very good as well as being a commanding presence,” said Garmey upon his arrival.
“He will add some balance to the left side of our defence.”
Forward Jon Littlemore, who had experience of playing at the top flight of Welsh football for Cardiff Met, has also departed, to join Ardal Leagues side CPD Porthmadog.
