Mae Menywod Dinas Bryste wedi arwyddo seren Uwch Gynghrair Menywod Cymru, Chloe O’Connor.

Haedda’r chwaraewr greadigol y symudiad ar ôl cael ymgyrch ddylanwadol gyda Phrifysgol Metropolitan Caerdydd, lle orffennodd yn brif sgoriwr y gynghrair gyda 15 gôl.

Dechreuodd O’Connor allan gyda phencampwyr Uwch Gynghrair Menywod Cymru, Abertawe, gan dreulio amser gyda Menywod Dinas Caerdydd yn 2018.

Dros ei ddau gyfnod ym Metropolitan Caerdydd, enillodd y chwaraewr dalentog dri theitl, yn ogystal â dau Gwpan Merched Cymru.

Daeth perfformiadau dylanwadol O’Connor yn 2020-2021 ar ôl cyfnod anodd o oresgyn tiwmor ar ei asgwrn gefn.

Ar ôl arwyddo i’r Robiniaid, dywedodd O’Connor, “Bristol City Women is a club steeped in history in the women’s game and I’m excited for the next challenge in my career.

“The Robins High Performance Centre will be a fantastic venue to play at week-in, week-out and after speaking at length with Lauren (Smith) I’m looking forward to seeing how I develop my game under her this season.

“The Championship is a competitive league with some quality teams and players, which I’m excited to test myself against.”

Mynegodd Hyfforddwr Menywod Dinas Bryste, Lauren Smith, ei gyffro ar ôl arwyddo seren Uwch Gynghrair Merched Cymru.

“Throughout her young career Chloe has shown that she is a fighter, she has faced adversity and battled through to return to the pitch and show what she is capable of.

“She was a real driving force behind Cardiff Met’s performances last season with her creativity and ability on the ball, which really excites me as a coach.

“I’m looking forward to seeing how Chloe develops over the upcoming season.”
