Alhagi Touray Sisay: Striker joins Haverfordwest County after departing Grimsby
Haverfordwest County have announced the signing of young striker Alhagi Touray Sisay.
The 21-year-old has linked up with the Bridge Meadow outfit after departing Grimsby Town from the National League.
Having started his career with a prolific spell at Spanish side CF Santvicentí – where he netted 35 goals in just 31 appearances – the youngster has since gone on to represent the likes of Ramsgate and fellow Cymru Premier side Aberystwyth Town, and was recently on loan with Cleethorpes Town.
The Spaniard is the Bluebirds’ seventh signing of a busy summer transfer window, and manager Wayne Jones is delighted to have secured the services of the tall frontman.
“I am delighted that we have managed to attract a player of Touray’s ability to the club,” he said. “He is six foot four, has a good touch, and has a good footballing mind.
“He is strong and most importantly he scores goals. He has been on the professional circuit and is keen to get going.
“Finding a big nine these days isn’t easy, but I have no doubt that the Bluebirds fans will be excited to see him play alongside Ben Fawcett!”
The forward could be in line to make his debut for the west Wales side when they host Cardiff Metropolitan in the Cymru Premier on Friday evening.
