Briton Ferry Llansawel welcome Cwmbran Celtic to Old Road in the Cymru South this evening.
It will be a tough task for Celtic as Briton Ferry have won both of their home league fixtures so far this season.
Briton Ferry won their last match 2-1 against Goytre United, Luke Bowen with both goals taking his tally for the season to seven. The Reds pulled off a shock on an opening day with a 3-0 win over title holders Swansea Uni. They also fired seven goals past Port Talbot. Ferry have picked up three wins from their five Cymru South games so far and have scored 15 goals.
Cwmbran Celtic have only managed one win so far, winning 4-0 at Port Talbot Town. Lewis Iles helped himself to a hat-trick in that match and has four goals for the season.
Iles will be the player to watch for Briton Ferry as Cwmbran’s leading goal scorer. This match will the first of three away matches and Celtic would like to get a win as they begin what could be a tough run of games.
The Reds, currently in fifth, welcome Cwmbran, who are hovering above the relegation zone in 12th.
Briton Ferry are still managerless having parted company with manager Carl Shaw. Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Ian Hillier was in charge of their win over Goytre.
Applications for the role shut last week and the club have been interviewing coaches for the vacancy.
