Cardiff City have further added to their squad by signing both Amy Williams and Emma Bayliss.
The pair become the fourth piece of business for Cardiff City after the additions of Seren Watkins and Zara Pernalete.
Bayliss joins the Bluebirds having previously been a part of Caldicot Town Ladies. She has resumed her playing career after a spell out of the game.
The 22-year-old played alongside Cerys Pinchard, a player who served a number of years at Cardiff before departing for a scholarship in the United States.
Pinchard played a pivotal role in Bayliss joining Cardiff for the upcoming season, encouraging her to go on trial as they sought new players.
Commenting on her move to the Ocean Park Arena, Bayliss said: “I’m really pleased to be here. I’ve been a fan for years and years. It’s great to be a part of the Club.
“I stopped playing for a while, but the trials came about, and Cerys encouraged me to come here. The girls have been really welcoming. I’ve previously played in a more attacking role, but I’m going to be playing as a left-back here.
“It’s different from what I know but I’m working really hard with Iain and the team to make that change.
“As a squad, silverware is definitely something we’re looking for this year. We’re all aiming for a successful season.”
Manager Iain Darbyshire added: “Emily was a bit of a surprise package. She came in via our trial. Instantly, we knew she was a very good player. Tenacious, lots of energy, unbelievable fitness, and very technical as well. She’s doing really well in training – learning a new position and ways of playing.
“It’s a pleasure to have her on board. We’re excited to see what she can do and the strengths she can bring to the team.”

Joining her in South Wales is Amy Williams, who moves on from Abergavenny Women and links up with her teammate Zara Pernalete.
The youngster remains in the Adran Premier after the Pennies were relegated, Williams made 10 appearances last season, scoring two goals.
She made the move to Pen-y-Pound Stadium earlier this year after joining Barry Town United Ladies.
The speedster has also been part of the Wales Under-15 and Under-17 setup and played for both Villa Dino and Tredegar during the early stages of her career.
“I’m really excited for the season. It’s a big move for me,” said the winger, who can also operate as a forward.
“I’m looking forward to improving as a player and helping the team. I like to attack quickly. It’s a big part of my game to get on the ball and help the team move forward. It is great to be here.”
Adding to her comments, Darbyshire said: Amy is a great signing for us. She has electric pace and is exactly the type of player we needed.
“She’ll add a threat going forward and something different to our already talented front line. We’re excited to see how both Emily and Amy develop in the coming season. We’re really pleased with our squad now!”
