Cardiff Met started the game early with a chance from Shannon Evans in the opening minute of the game, her effort went wide of the post.

Emily Allen has helped bring creativity to the team this season as she fired a shot from inside the box straight at Parkes as the home side pressured the keeper.

Following an early break of pressure from the Archers, TNS responded with an effort of their own when Francessca Scott ran down the right flank as her effort was saved from Sweeney from close range.

Set Pieces have been a big part of the Archer’s side so far this season as Hancocks hit the ball onto Allen’s head as it was cleared off the line.

Cardiff Met should have taken the lead when Shannon Evans was one on one but Marshall makes a last-ditch tackle to prevent the home side take the lead.

Shannon Evans kept on having chances as she attempted a half volley towards the bottom right corner which was saved.

Francesca Scott was a handful for the Archer’s defence as her electrifying pace caught the defence off guard as she struck a shot at Sweeney as Met cleared it away.

Emily Allen fired a powerful cross into the path of Erin Murray who had her header go inches past the post.

Emily Richards had the best chance of the game as hit a strike from outside the box as Parkes saved her effort onto the crossbar to go for a corner.

Following the corner, Met broke the deadlock when Sophie Hancocks hit the ball into the middle where Grace Corne was there to head home.

The Archers grabbed a goal in the last chance of the first half when Erin Murray laid off a back pass to Emily Allen’s feet as she latched she shot down the center into the roof of the net.

The Archers went into the break at halftime with a two-nil lead against TNS as it was an end-to-end game in the first half.

In the first chance of the second half started when Erin Murray had a half volley effort go over the crossbar following an Elianna Chavez delivery.

Chavez turned from creator to opportunist as Allen crossed a ball into the box as Chavez had her effort saved by Parkes.

Erin Murray had a touch of beauty as she brought down the ball brilliantly as her effort did not match the touch as it went over.

Sophie Hancocks was dangerous all game as she hit the ball into Emily Allen who had her header headed wide.

Emily Allen had an effort as she was destined to make it three but her effort went well wide.

Yzzy Taylor’s side has now won their last three games following wins over Aberystwyth Town and Port Talbot Town Ladies.
