Adran Trophy Round Two draw: See who your side drew

Defending champions Swansea City will play Wrexham in Round Two of the Adran Trophy.

The competition, which has had a change in format to incorporate second-tier clubs, was non-regionalised but seeded.

Wrexham, who were involved in a nine-goal thriller with Airbus UK yesterday, finished ahead of Llanfair and the Wingmakers on goal difference and have been awarded a home tie against Chris Church’s side.

Pwllheli, who topped that group are also at home and take on last year’s runners-up Cardiff City, who scored eight against Port Talbot in the Adran Premier yesterday.

Francesca Scott will return to Park Hall with the Connah’s Quay Nomads as they were drawn with her former side The New Saints.

Llandudno, who were the runners-up of Group 2 in the North face a trip down South to face losing semi-finalists Cardiff Met.

There are then three all-Southern ties with Talbot Ladies hosting Ardan South side Cascade who lost 6-0 to Cardiff Met women’s in the Women’s Welsh cup last month.

Pontypridd Town Ladies will host high-scoring Abergavenny, who are setting the pace in the Adran South this season with 29 goals in three matches.

Dragons boss Fern Burrage-Male said: “We look forward to welcoming Abergavenny and Craig Morgan-Hill to the USW Sport Park on 19th December.”

There is still a team to be determined after the postponement of Caldicot Town versus Talycopa. Both are playing for a place in the next round, with the winner hosting Barry Town Ladies.

Ties will be played on Sunday 19 December, which will be the final competitive fixture of 2021, before a festive break.
