The annual release of the new Football Manager 2022 game is marked on many fans’ calendars as they eagerly await to see how they’d fare in the hot seat.
The beta version of the game has been out for a couple of weeks, but the full game has now been released, and with it the Editor, allows us to see more details in the database.
The game has helped clubs reach new markets, with comedian Jason Manford recently managing Flint Town on his Twitch stream, and clubs like Aberystwyth and Penrhyncoch recently getting in touch with fans who’d been managing them on the game.

1. Jazz Richards – Haverfordwest County
Jazz Richards’ rating has not been changed from last year and is well clear as the highest-rated player in the league. His current ability is rated at 115/200, whilst Declan McManus in second place is rated 96/200.
Former Welsh internationals Neal Eardley and David Edwards are rated 90 and 88 respectively.
Aberystwyth’s Gregor Zabret is the highest-rated goalkeeper in the league with 80 CA, well clear of TNS’ Paul Harrison and Connor Roberts who are both rated 60/200.
10 of the top 25 are players that moved to the Cymru Premier over the summer transfer window.
Lower down the pyramid, Francesco Serafino, son of Bangor City chairman Domenico, is the highest-rated player in the Cymru North – despite the fact that he no longer plays in the league.
Penrhyncoch’s Tihomir Trifonov is the second-highest rated player in the league with a score of 76/100 – which would be enough to put him in the top 20 in the Cymru Premier.
Cambrian & Clydach’s Jake Thomas is the highest-rated player in the Cymru South after he joined from Swansea over the summer. He’s closely followed by Carmarthen Town’s Cameron Berry and Trystan Jones.
