Cardiff Met strolled to a 7-1 victory over Barry Town with two of their American imports on target at Cyncoed Campus.
Olivia Thompson and Elianna Chavez both found the back of the net on two occasions, whilst Ellie Preece, Laura-May Walkley, and Lauren Hitton-Townsend were also on target.
Barry skipper Bowen scored a consolation goal but ultimately the Linnets fell to a fifth straight defeat.
Met remain in second, four points behind league leaders Swansea, whilst Barry drop to bottom after The New Saints beat Port Talbot.
Yzzy Taylor’s side started the game with most of the possession as Emily Allen and Olivia Thompson threatened both wings in the early stages of the match.
The first goal soon came as Preece’s headed ball evaded over the Barry defence allowed Walkley to slot home from close range.
Cardiff Met continued to press as Allen provided dangerous runs from both sides of the pitch as met continued to press the Barry goal.
Met’s whole attacking line was relentless and their continued pursuit of a second goal eventually paid off. Chavez delivered a perfect delivery into the middle as Thomspon headed home from close range to double the Archer’s lead.
Walkley was close to adding a third goal as she fired a powerful effort destined for the top right corner as it was saved brilliantly by Chelsea Herbert.
It did come minutes later however, Preece managed to get around her defender as she slotted home a close-range effort and a third in the first 30 minutes of the game.
Barry responded with O’Reilly providing two chances first being a half volley from 25 yards out as it went wide and the second an effort from just outside the box straight at Charlotte Smith.
Despite their lead, Met’s manager Yzzy Taylor was brandished to the standards after two yellow cards in quick succession, relating to a discussion with one of the officials.
As the second half started, there was a spell of possession from Barry and they made the most of it. Bowen fired a powerful effort from distance into the bottom left corner to pull a goal back.
Met’s balls over the top was a continued route at goal and they recovered from conceding to earn a fourth. Thompson calmly stroked home from close range to grab her second.
It would soon become five as Hutton-Townsend stepped up and powered her powerful effort into the top right corner.
Jessie Taylor missed an excellent opportunity to extend the lead as she was one on one with the keeper but she lifted it over the crossbar.
The hosts won a penalty moments later but Hutton-Townsend didn’t hit the mark and sent it over the bar, unable to replicate her feat against Pontypridd last week.
Mackenzie Olden was close to grabbing a second for Barry as she went one on one with Smith but the keeper managed to get a hand onto the ball.
Following a brilliant chance at one end to a goal down the other as Emily Allen played a ball into the box as Chavez tapped it in from close range for the sixth.
To cap off the scoring Allen stung the palms of Herbert who parried the ball into the direction of Chavez who tapped home for her second goal in a few minutes.
