Carmarthen Town continued their impressive unbeaten run as they strolled to a 4-0 victory over Afan Lido at Richmond Park.
Adam John got two goals and an assist as he inspired the Old Gold to a sublime second-half performance, with Liam Thomas and substitute Noah Daley also on target.
The first half showed glimpses for both teams missing chances with both goal keepers keeping their teams in the game
Town could have been ahead early after 2 mins but Coughlin in goal for lido was up to the challenge with saves on the 18th and an outstanding save for the resulting corner.
Lido had chances also but James in goal for town kept his team in the game
The visiting team had 2 first half cautions from Davies (12) and Evans (44) for clear foul tackles
And lido had to make a substitution on (34) as pike had a head injury and was taken off after a lengthy stoppage
The second half spring in quickly and the town were ahead. Not the cleanest finish as John scored his first of the afternoon from seven yards with a sliced effort going over couch in goal 1-0
Town we’re 2-0 after 66’ with a fantastic pass through midfield found john just outside the box and drive forward and fired passed Couch from 15 yards goal of the day by far
It was 3-0 after 75’ this time John with the assist could have gone himself but chose to pass to him team mate Thomas in the box and score from 10 yards great sportsmanship from the number 18 for town
And finally the game was clinched in stoppage time 91’ as sub Rickard tapped in from 7 yards 4-0 Carmarthen
