Penybont 4-0 Barry Town United: Top-six secured as Bont bulldoze Barry

Penybont secured their place in the top six by claiming a 4-0 win over Barry Town United at the SDM Glass Stadium. 

Nathan Wood’s penalty in the first half started the scoring before Daniel Jefferies, Mael Davies and Lewis Clutton all inflicted further damage in the second period.

Rhys Griffiths’ side move up to second for at least a night, putting them level on points with Flint Town United but possessing a better goal difference.

For Barry, they are are four points adrift of safety with two games remaining in Phase One with their place in the bottom six now confirmed.
