Cardiff City and Swansea City face each other on the final day of the Adran Premier season at the home of Welsh football, the Cardiff City Stadium.

The Bluebirds have won the league but will now get to lift the trophy at the second largest football ground in Wales. Iain Darbyshire’s side won the league with victory over TNS last month and could now receive a guard of honour from the former champions.

The Swans have been champions for the last three seasons and have won it four times out of the last six. They’re a whole ten points behind Cardiff City though, and have failed to beat them this season.

Cardiff are hoping to go the entirety of the campaign unbeaten with their current record at 16 wins and three draws. They’ve scored 67 goals and conceded just 11 compared to Swansea’s 12 wins, five draws and two defeats along with 51 goals scored and 17 conceded.

Swansea’s last win against Cardiff came on March 20th 2022 with the now Bluebird Rhianne Oakley playing for the opposition that day. Cardiff won 2-0 against Swansea in September, and since then have drawn twice, drawing 1-1 in September and then snatching a point late on in a 2-2 draw in February.

When is kick-off?

The match will kick off at 3.00 pm, and we’ll be bringing you live updates with team news coming in, as well as photos of the trophy lift.

Cardiff City manager Iain Darbyshire said to the official club website: “It’s a big game.

We’re trying to stay unbeaten for the whole season in the league and it’s a South Wales derby. We know it’s always a difficult game, no matter whether the league title is in the bag or not, they’ll be coming here playing with pride and they’ll want to win a derby, so we’ll prepare, we’ll take it very seriously and we’ll go for the win.
