In a statement published on Twitter, he said: “As communicated by the club yesterday I have stepped away from my role as manager of Barry Town United FC.
After what has been an outstanding last 12 months in my time at the club, winning the Cymru South League, Welsh Blood Service Southern Cup, and Welsh Blood Service National Cup and completing the first treble in 20 years.
“I would like to thank the Team for all their hard work on the pitch and everyone that has helped make positive impacts across the year.
“The club has an amazing set of supporters who I want to personally thank for making my family and I so welcome in the stands and in the dugout, home or away.
“I would also personally like to thank Mark and Jonny for their continued support and friendship across my time at the club. I wish all the club continued success on its journey and glad to have played a part in getting the club back to where it rightfully belongs.
