Cardiff Met got back to winning ways as they beat local rivals Barry Town 2-1 at Cyncoed Campus in the Cymru Premier.

Eliot Evans and Harry Owen scored early in the second half to give the Archers a healthy lead. Callum Huggins scored a consolation in the third minute of additional time but it wasn’t enough to start a fight back.

As a result, Met are seventh and trail sixth-placed Bala Town on goal points, whilst Barry Town stay in the relegation zone.
