What time is the Welsh Cup round two draw? Ball numbers, how to watch and fixture dates

Cymru Premier clubs enter at the Round Two stage of the 2024/25 Welsh Cup as 64 clubs await their fate. 

A whole range of teams are involved in the draw, including Cardiff Bay Warriors who are currently 11th in the South Wales Premier League Championship, which is the fifth tier of Welsh football. Earlier this year, the Bay Warriors won the Somali Cup in Canada, but now some top-flight teams potentially await them.

Cerrigydrudion, who are currently sixth in the North Wales Coast East Football League are the lowest-ranked side from the North. They defeated Llandyrnog United 8-0 to progress. 

Aber Valley are no strangers to the Welsh Cup, and in recent years have had glamour ties against Aberystwyth Town and Barry Town United.

Here’s all you need to know ahead of tonight’s draw…

When will the Welsh Cup Round Two matches be played?

All matches are due to take place from Friday, October 19 to Sunday, October 21. Matches that are postponed will be played a week later, with the Cup taking priority over any league fixtures.

How to watch the second-round Welsh Cup draw

The draw will be streamed on the FAW’s Red Wall Plus service. It is due to take place on Wednesday, September 25, at 8.00 pm.

How does the draw work?

A total of 64 teams are in the draw, and they have been split into the north and south. A total of 16 teams from the Cymru North and South were afforded byes in Round One.
