TNS look to write their name in history and pull off one of the biggest ever shocks in UEFA Conference League history as they head to Italy to face giants Fiorentina in their league phase debut.

They will be buoyed by the fact that the home side have had an inconsistent start to both their domestic and continental seasons, as well as having four centre-backs out through either injury or suspensions.

Who is the referee for Fiorentina v TNS?

Sebastian Gishamer (Austria) is the man in the middle. He is joined by  Roland Riedel (Austria), and Santino Schreiner (Austria) as assistants with Walter Altmann (Austria) the fourth official for the match.

All four of these officials teamed up for Gishamer’s last European club outing as a referee , during a 3-0 win for Maccabi Tel-Aviv vs TSC Backa Topola.

Sebastian brandished two red cards for the away team, as well as five yellows between the two teams. This game was the first leg in a tie which saw Maccabi qualify for the Europa League group stage, with them winning 5-1 in the next meeting.

Will VAR be in operation for Fiorentina v TNS in the Conference League?

Yes. The VAR official is Alan Kijas from Austria, and he will be supported by Manuel Schuettengruber. VAR will be in operation for all Conference League fixtures for TNS.
