Llantwit Major welcome Goytre United to Windmill Lane in this Cymru South clash..

Llantwit are fifth in the Cymru South table after a good start to the season.  Goytre are in ninth place after a mixed start to the season.

Llantwit have four wins and three draws and sit five points behind leaders Cambrian United.  They come into this game on the back of a run for four games unbeaten. Matty Kimmins grabbed an equaliser as they drew at Pontypridd and they followed that with a home win over Ammanford.

Tomos Tweedy’s goal in first-half stoppage time was enough for the three points.  Tweedy scored twice as Llantwit won in the Welsh Cup 3-2 over Ely Rangers.  Their last game saw them draw away to Trethomas Bluebirds.

The Major will be hoping that Josh Morgan and Matty Kimmins can continue their good form with both having scored four so far this season.

Goytre will be looking to break a run of three defeats in a row.  Keane Watts got a late goal as they lost 2-1 at Celtic Park to Cwmbran Celtic.  They suffered a heavy defeat in the Nathaniel MG  Cup as they lost 9-1 to Cardiff Met.

Their last match was against Caerau Ely in a losing effort as they lost 2-0.  Goytre’s last win came on September 7th as they beat Carmarthen 3-1. Two from Keane Watts and one from Kyle Williams.

A win for Llantwit could see them rise into second place in the table while a Goytre win could see them rise as high as fourth.

With very little between the clubs in the Cymru South table this should prove another entertaining match.
