Football Manager 26 is out, and for the first time ever, you can now manage women’s football teams, including those in the Adran Premier.
As well as that, every player in the Adran North and Adran South is on the game too. But what does Football Manager 26 think will happen in this season’s Adran Premier?
We simulated this current season to see who would win the league, domestic cup competitions, and who would win promotion to the top tier.
As well as all that, here we will show you who scooped up the league’s individual awards, while also taking a look at the team of the year and so much more. It’s fair to say, we had some pretty surprising results!
First-time winners

Football Manager 26 predicts that we will have first-time league winners in the Adran Premier this season, and it thinks Briton Ferry will be lifting the title this season.
Involved in a titanic tussle alongside Wrexham and Cardiff City throughout the season, Rhys Thomas’ side won the title on goal difference! A six-game winning run in the middle of the campaign certainly helped their push towards the title.
Going into the final day, Ferry were third in the table. However, with City and Wrexham drawing with each other, a Meg Kearle double against TNS fired the side from Old Road to the top of the table and to their first ever league title.
Just like last season, Football Manager believes Swansea City won’t make it into the top four again, but the will win the Relegation Group ahead of Barry Town.
The relegation battle was intense too. Pontypridd United failed to stay up after last season’s promotion but only finished two points behind Aberystwyth Town in seventh. But, it certainly wasn’t a poor season by any means for Aber.
Cup shocks

Despite finishing second from bottom in the Adran Premier, Aberystwyth picked up their first piece of major silverware, as they won the Bute Energy Welsh Cup in Newport, according to Football Manager.
But it’s the team they defeated to lift the trophy that makes this even more extraordinary, as they met Adran North newbies Berriew in the final!
It was a magical run for Regina Hanratty’s side, who defeated Cardiff City on penalties in the quarterfinals, and then Swansea City in the semis. Aber, on the other hand, got past Adran Premier champions Briton Ferry on penalties in the last eight, before Libby Isaac’s second minute goal was enough to defeat Wrexham in the semi-final.
Berriew got off to a dream start in the final, as Liann Richards put them ahead after eight minutes. The lead only lasted two minutes, as Amy Jenkins pulled Aber level from the penalty spot. The winning goal would come right before the hour mark, as Ffiona Evans won the Seasiders their first ever Welsh Cup.
Meanwhile, the Adran Trophy also has a new home. After losing back-to-back Welsh Cup finals, Wrexham finally got their hands on a trophy, as they beat Barry Town in the final.
The game in Ebbw Vale was certainly a nail bitter. Grace Corne found herself sent off after ten minutes, but Barry rallied to a 2-2 draw in normal time. The Adran Trophy would be decided by penalties, and after eight rounds of spot kicks, Holly Jenkins was the unlucky one, as Wrexham lifted the trophy for the first time.
Should Wales be in panic mode after eleven games without a win?
Promotion winners

Unfortunately, with the way the game is constructed, we cannot show you how the Adran North and South panned out, or who faced each other in the playoff final. However, we do know who got promoted.
That team, Football Manager believes, will be Llanelli Town. The likes of Courtney Butt and Bryanna Demery were the standouts for The Reds, who would be playing Adran Premier football for the first time in their history.
Individual honours

It’s perhaps no surprise that the Adran Premier Player of the Season went to a Briton Ferry player, and the honour in this particular season went to winger Maia Owen.
In 19 league games, Owen scored two and assisted four but won player of the match a remarkable five times, more than any other player in the league. Her good performances also earned her the Adran Premier Young Player of the Season award.
The Golden Boot, for the first time, headed to TNS as Chantelle Teare’s seven goals was enough to see her pip Jade Crofts and Mariam Mahmood to the crown. Meanwhile, the Golden Glove went to Cardiff City’s Ceryn Chamberlain, who kept seven clean sheets in 14 games.
Unsurprisingly, Manager of the Season went to Rhys Thomas, meaning Briton Ferry managers would have won consecutive Manager of the Season awards.

Team of the Season

Two sides dominate the Adran Premier Team of the Season. According to Football Manager, both Briton Ferry and Wrexham will have four representatives each come the end of the season.
For title winners Ferry, they will be represented by Courtney Young, Ashley Griffiths, Maia Owen, and Laura-May Walkley. As far as Wrexham are concerned, attacking duo Katie Barker and Mariam Mahmood lead the line, while Carra Jones also has a spot in the side. An unfamiliar name in the line-up, however, is that of Japanese midfielder Momo Nakao, who Wrexham loaned in from Scottish side Celtic.
The other three players to make it into the team are Cardiff City’s Ffion Price and Maddison Perrott, while TNS defender Safia Paraiso also makes the cut.
Wales debuts

To end this simulation, we had a look to see if any Adran Premier players made waves in the Welsh national team, and Football Manager certainly believes some will catch the eye of Rhian Wilkinson.
Maia Owen, Ceryn Chamberlain, Shannon Evans, Stacey John, and Josie Smith will all make their Wales senior debuts this season, while Chloe Chivers makes a return to the fold.
Wales’ youth teams, meanwhile, are littered with Adran Premier talent. The likes of Lily Billignham, Lili Jones, Madison Lloyd and Molly Arnesen are regulars for the U23 side, while Lucy Coles, Lauren Payne and Beca Thomas are some of the names in the U19 side.
Clearly, Football Manager 26 believes that this Adran Premier season will be incredibly unpredictable. Will any of its predictions come true? We will just have to wait and see!
