Llandudno have completed the signing of young Bangor City striker Shaun Cavanagh.
The young forward, who has represented Wales at under-18 level, is the Lakesiders’ first signing of the summer, and arrives with a reputation for being one of the most exciting young talents in domestic Welsh football.
Last season saw the 19-year-old break into the first team set-up at his hometown club following an impressive run of form in the Citizens’ Welsh Premier League Development squad.
Llandudno fans will already have had a glimpse of the forward’s ability last season, after he netted City’s winner during their encounter together at Bangor University Stadium.
Commenting on the signing, boss Alan Morgan told the club’s official website: “It’s a very good signing for us, Shaun’s a young lad from North Wales with lots of talent, but also with a huge amount more potential which hopefully he will fulfil with us moving forward. He did really well against us last season scoring the winner at Bangor and we want him to score those goals for us.”
