The Huws Gray Alliance Cup returned this weekend, and Airbus have moved into the last four with a win at Denbigh Town last weekend.
The league leaders started the league season in electric form and have backed it up with progression in the cup.
Denbigh 0-2 Airbus
Airbus advanced to the semi-final of the Huws Gray Alliance Cup thanks to a 2-0 victory. Matty McGinn scored for the visitors on 11 minutes and was the only goal in the first half. McGinn doubled their lead in stoppage time and put the Wingmakers into the semifinals, as their impressive season continued.
Holyhead 3-2 Ruthin
Holyhead Hotspur made the final four of the cup with a 3-2 victory over Ruthin. Hotspur made a fantastic start with Mel McGinness opening the scoring in the first five minutes. The home side doubled their lead on 14 minutes through Kenleigh Owen. Ruthin pulled one back on 31 minutes through top goalscorer Llyr Morris, and he got his second on 80 minutes, but it mattered for little as the hosts advanced.
Porthmadog 2-0 Conwy Borough
Porthmadog made the semi-finals with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Conwy Borough. Port took the lead three minutes before half time thanks to Dale Davies’ goal on 42 minutes. Port secured their progress to the next round in stoppage time with a Dan Dascalli goal, as Borough crashed out.
Prestatyn 2-4 Bangor City
Bangor City have progressed to the semi-final stage of the cup in their first season back in the second tier, thanks to a 4-2 victory over Prestatyn Town this weekend.
Jacob Farleigh opened the scoring for the visitors on 16 minutes before Sam Barnes doubled the lead for the Citizens. David Hayes pulled one back for the home side on 76 minutes and Alex Jones equalised on 81 minutes, which forced the game into extra time.
But, a Sam Jones double won the game for the Citizens in extra time.
