Goytre United have announced the signings of former Newport County defender Cortez Belle and ex-Penybont player Joe Hopkins.
The pair arrive at Glenhafod Park Stadium ahead of United’s game against Goytre (Gwent) on Saturday.
Lee John’s side have made a stuttering start to their Welsh League Division One campaign, and are currently sitting in 10th place; having picked up nine points from their opening nine games.
35-year-old Belle made over 80 appearances in the Welsh Premier League in his spells with Carmarthen and Port Talbot Town.

Hopkins has experience of playing in Division One with Penybont, by whom he was described as: “A stylish player who can score goals and creates a load of chances.”
After coming through the youth ranks at The Bont, Hopkins was named Player of the Year for the 2013/14 season.
The Port Talbot side were victorious in the first round of the JD Welsh Cup last Friday, beating Penlan Club 1-0 away from home.
The club’s official twitter account stated that both players will be in the frame for selection ahead of this weekend’s trip to Plough Road.
