Taffs Well host Pontypridd Town at Rhiw’r Ddar in the first A470 Derby of the JD Cymru South season.
Last season both sides claimed away wins over each other, with Pontypridd finishing higher than the Wellmen.
All of Pontypridd’s points this season have come away from their Aberaman Park home.
Taffs Well stopped the rot of two away defeats by drawing with Caerau Ely at Cwrt-yr-Ala Road.
