Port Talbot Town have recruited four new players for the upcoming JD Cymru South season.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cameron Harris and Jake Kelly are joining from their Cymru South rivals Briton Ferry and Carmarthen Town respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peter Almond is making the move to Victoria Road following a spell in the Carmarthenshire Leagues, meanwhile Bless Kim has signed up to the Steelmen following his decision to study at Swansea University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am delighted to bring in a number of new faces that freshens up a bit,” said manager Mark Pike to the official club website<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“All four lads will boost the squad to no end and provides more options that gives us more strength in depth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s great to have Cameron on board, he is a talented and committed player who will add strength and depth to an already great squad.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Port Talbot will also be buoyed by the returns of Blake Morgan, Chris Silva, Dylan Thomas and Matt Baker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All four players were absent in their Nathaniel MG Cup<\/a> defeat<\/a> to Cambrian & Clydach Vale but have recovered for the upcoming season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt is also great to have Dylan Thomas back fit after his long layoff with injury,\u201d added Pike. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBlake, Chris and Matt will also return following respective injuries owing to ligament damage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe current squad has been superb and disciplined in this latest lockdown with them training alone and I am sure that their belief and dedication will have its benefits once we are allowed to get back together in the coming weeks when it is safe to do so.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The league season is due to start in March but is dependent on the Welsh Government lowering the restrictions imposed on the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Welsh football bosses met earlier this week on their plans for the remainder of the season<\/a>, with the hope of beginning the league campaign on 20 March and ending in late May. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The JD Cymru South<\/a> is in a shortened format of 15 matches with some teams playing an uneven amount of home and away games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Relegation to the Ardal Leagues is also unlikely after their season was cancelled as a result of the National League Board\u2019s decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
