Chirk AAA, who put a stop to Corwen FCs unbeaten start to the season with a terrific 2-1 victory, will be looking for the same this Saturday when they travel to Llanuwchllyn. Although the same can be said for Sion Tudors side who were the first to take points off Hawarden Rangers this season in a solid performance in a game that ended 0-0, both sides will full of confidence.
Llanuwchllyn will be without Gwynant Rowlands, Alwyn Rowlands and Prys Jones who have a wedding to attend but welcome back Iwan Jones and Lolo Jones back to the squad.
Sion Tudor said “I have a good bunch of lads and I’m confident that we will be competitive in all games this season. The lads showed great character last week against a good Hawarden side and it was a good point for us. I accept that Chirk will be another very tough test this Saturday but I know that the players will be committed once again and will give nothing less than 100%.”
Mark Holmes’ side will be without key players Nathan Lavender, Joe Roberts and Chris Bennion but look set to bring back Andrew Swarbrick back into the squad.
2:30pm kick off.
