Welsh Premier League side Llandudno have confirmed they have signed a new deal with Discount Football Kits.
Llandudno released a statement on their official club website expressing their delight of remaining with Discount Football Kits.
Llandudno Football Club are pleased to announce a huge new 4 year merchandise deal, with the UK’s leading branded teamwear specialist Discount Football Kits, and remaining in partnership with retail giants Adidas.
After several club members personally visited the Birmingham based specialists the club were truly impressed with the setup and professional operations that Discount Football Kits can offer and provide moving forward in terms of quality, service, and delivery, and were delighted that both parties could come to an agreement in working together for the next 4 years.
Discount Football Kits self-claim that they are a family business that has been nurtured out of passion for grassroots football since 1979, and understand completely the needs that a club such as Llandudno Football Club operates with a thriving junior, academy, and community section along with its senior setup.
Through the new partnership we will have an online shop ordering system that will allow our teams, players, parents, and fans a more efficient service when ordering Llandudno branded merchandise for themselves, or their whole team, and all at competitive prices.
We can announce that we are currently working on a new away kit for the 2017/18 season, with this season’s red away kit acting as an alternative strip, whilst our home strip will remain the same for at least another season. All of which will be officially announced and revealed when pre-season begins in July 2017.”
The deal ensures that Llandudno will be playing in an Adidas manufactured kit for the next 4 year deal, as well as having teamwear clothing such as jackets, joggers and tracksuits made for players and coaching staff.
The Seasiders wore an Adidas made kit when they played in the Europa League qualifiers last season, where they lost 2-1 at home to Swedish side IFK Goteberg and 5-0 away at the Gamla Ullevi.
The current home kit will remain, whilst the club will look to wear a newer away kit, as Llandudno’s current red away strip will be used as an alternate kit should the club be forced to change in an instance of a kit clash.
Fans will be able to buy shirts and merchandise online as part of the contract extension.
