With the North Wales football scene back in full swing again, with the Welsh Premier League and it’s feeder leagues in competitive action again, there are some exciting fixtures to attend in the first month.
Whether you’re an avid Welsh groundhopper or perhaps just have a couple of hours spare on a Saturday and want to watch the beautiful game in a village near you, these are some of North Wales’ most tasty affairs over the next week which you should consider attending.
Llandudno v Connah’s Quay Nomads
Starting in the Welsh Premier League, at 2.30 pm on Saturday, with a clash of two (of the 3) undefeated teams in the competition thus far, both teams have already proven they know how to score goals so expect to see a few at Maesdu Park

Porthmadog v Caernarfon
A midweek fixture as the current Cymru Alliance leaders, Porthmadog, host a team heavily tipped to win the league, Caernarfon Town at 7.30 pm on Wednesday night at Y Traeth.
The Cofis will be looking to regroup after an unpredicted loss to Holyhead Hotspur last week and will have to show all their quality to overcome a very confident Porthmadog who recently put seven past Llandudno Juction.

Corwen v Llanuwchllyn
Placed second and third in the Welsh National League Premier Division, both teams have showed real quality in the first couple week of competition and will both really want another win to help them to an early advantage in the competition.
The fixture is another Wednesday night (6.15 pm kick off) affair in Corwen and will be a firm test for both teams’ quality.

Llanrug v Llangefni
Yet another Wednesday night fixture, this time at 6.30 pm, as last seasons third and fourth place in the Welsh Alliance face off. Llangefni have won two from two and haven’t conceded a goal in either game wheras Llanrug have only played one game and drew.
Thus it is unpredictable what Llanrug may bring to the game which could make for a very exciting fixture in Llanrug.
