Cymru Alliance side Holywell Town have furtherer added to their squad by signing hometown boy Morgan Jones and goalkeeper Michael Jones.
The Wellmen currently sit third in the division, five points off league leaders Airbus UK, with manager John Haseldin bringing in re-enforcements to booster his squads chances.
Jones joins the club having been part of the Crewe Alexandra sine the age of 11 but an injury forced him to miss out on a professional offer, as he now attempts to rebuild his career in his hometown.
The Pentre Halkyn-born striker has played for the Wales U16 side four times, coming up against strong sides like Switzerland, Belgium and playing France twice.
Joining Morgan at Halkyn Road is former Denbigh Town shot-stopper Michael Jones, as he joins from English non-league side Oswestry Town. Jones has been brought in to provide competition for the number-one spot between himself, Joe Griffiths and Shaun Pearson.
The two arrivals has meant that summer recruit Darren Gowans has departed the club, but during his brief spell at the club he registered his name on the score sheet a number of times.
“Darren was a good lad and player, and I’m see him go and would like to wish him all the best at his new club.” said Holywell Town boss John Haseldin on the departure of Gowans.”
