He comes into the role after multiple spells at Port Talbot, originally joining the club August 2011 from Merthyr Tydfil.
He departed for Carmarthen Town in June 2013 before returning to Port Talbot. In the summer of 2017 he once again came to the Genquip Stadium from English pyramid side Merthyr Town.
So far this season utility man Belle has been one of Port Talbot’s top goalscorers, and is undefeated in five games having made his managerial debut with a 5-1 win away at Ton Pentre.
Belle will be assisted by former Port Talbot academy director Mark Pike, with the Blues currently eighth in the second tier table.
His first game as manager will be away at Monmouth Town this Saturday 13 January.
