The biggest game in the JD Welsh Premier League this weekend will be at The Rock, home of Cefn Druids, as they host Llandudno in a game that will decide the sixth place finisher of phase one.
Thanks to last week’s results, Druids need at least one point to clinch sixth – but a win for Llandudno will see them snatch sixth via goal difference in what is a ‘cup final’ game for the two sides.
And as National League Wrexham AFC are playing away, the game is expected to take place in front of a large crowd as well as a live Sgorio audience.
Cefn Druids come into the game unbeaten in two games, having sealed a vital away win at basement boys Carmarthen Town last week.
To make things tighter Llandudno are also unbeaten in two games, and have only lost one in their previous seven.
Their recently appointed manager Iwan Williams seems to have hit the ground running in his first job in the top flight, as he is just one win away from what would be a massive achievement for Europa League 2016/17 qualifiers Llandudno.
Williams, who has registered himself as a player in the Llandudno squad, reported that spirits were high at Maesdu Park as they head into the vital game.

Williams’ counterpart, the experienced Huw Griffiths has echoed Williams’ thoughts on the game by stating Druids finishing in the top six would be his ‘greatest achievement as a manager’.
Llandudno’s Marc Williams is sure to be a threat, whilst Druids’ Naim Arsan and Ashley Ruane will look to try break the deadlock in what is sure to be a cagey game considering how much is riding on it.

If Druids get a draw or more they will be celebrating a top six finish for the first time. A Llandudno win will send them into the top six for the first time since the 2016/17 season when a third place finish was enough to send them into Europe.
You can watch the game live on S4C Sgorio from 17:00pm on Saturday and stay up to date with all the action right here at Y Clwb Pel Droed.
