Holmes who joined Bangor City last season after leaving Conference side York City, has joined Andy Morrison’s men after their recent Welsh Cup win.

“We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Danny Holmes to Connah’s Quay,” said manager Andy Morrison when speaking to the-nomads.co.uk.

For me, Danny was the outstanding full-back in the league last season and he further strengthens our squad going forwards.”

The 29-year-old has a vast ton of experience, both in the Welsh Premier League and in the Football League, racking up in total 350 appearances. This season he made a total of 24 appearances for the Citizens, scoring on the one occasion.
