Prestatyn Town have appointed join managers Leon Field and Ryan Turner as the men to succeed Gareth Wilson.
Wilson stood down from his role, having only been appointed in April, after being named interim boss as the Seasiders were relegated from the Welsh Premier League.
The two join from Division Two side Kimmel Bay where they lead Bay to the Vale of Clwyd and Conwy title.
“It’s a fantastic feeling, but our focus now is pushing on and getting the wheels in motion – getting the lads signed on and training as soon as possible,” said Field when speaking to ptfconline.co.uk
“We’re also confident that if we can get a good cup run going, that will bring the feel-good factor back to the club.”
Before joining Kinmel Bay, Field had experience with Abergele, Colwyn Bay, Conwy Borough and Llansannan
The Rhyl Journal suggests that Kinmel Bay players may swap the Lock Stock Alliance League to join the Welsh Premier League side.
They will work alongside Director of Football, Dave Fuller. Fuller lead Prestatyn to the Cymru Alliance title back in 2005/2006, where they went the whole season unbeaten.
Turner said: “We have to aim to finish as high as possible, it’s that simple – we’re hoping for at least mid-table.
We’re also going to be working very closely with the newly appointed director of football – Dave Fuller – the academy coaches and the club’s young talent.”
