Former New Saints winger Parry reunited with manager Craig Harrison

Craig Harrison has made his fifth summer signing as Bangor City boss, as Robbie Parry arrives at Nantporth.

Harrison is reunited with Parry having managed him at Park Hall during his seven years with The New Saints.

Parry spent the second half of last season on loan at Welsh Premier League side Llandudno. He was one of the nine players who were released by The New Saints this summer.

‘I am looking forward to getting this massive club back in to the Welsh Premier League and cannot wait to work with Craig again as I feel he got the best out of me.” said Parry to Bangor City after signing with the club.

Parry will link up with fellow summer recruits Les Davies, Tom Field, Colwyn Bay captain Sam Barnes and loan signing Jake Phillips, who signed on a season-long loan from the Connah’s Quay Nomads.

The 23-year-old began his career with Wolverhampton Wanderers before moving to Stoke City, where he played for their U21s.

He has had previous experience in the Welsh Premier League, having had a loan spell at Welsh Cup winners the Connah’s Quay Nomads back in 2015/2016.

The Citizens will begin their pre-season away at Pwllheli on the 9th July, before playing Penycae, Wrexham, Colwyn Bay, Telford United, Warrington Town and Hyde United, before they begin life in the Cymru Alliance.
