Ryan Giggs hasn’t revealed what kind of Wales side will line up against Spain at the Principality Stadium next week.

Wales have a doubleheader against Ireland and Spain, with the friendly against Spain up first.

The Ireland game, however, is a competitive fixture, with potential qualification to the European Championships, should Wales top their group.

The Wales manager said: “It’s my decision, I analyse the lads, what they’re like when they turn up.

Each player I will take all these things into consideration, with one eye on the Ireland game.”

Spain won 6-0 against World Cup runners-up Croatia in their last outing and are ranked 9th in the world.

They will be backed by players like David de Gea, Sergio Ramos, Sergio Ramos and Marco Asensio.

Gareth Bale who has been in Madrid since 2013, will be eager to play against Spain, with four Real Madrid teammates named in the Spain squad by Luis Enrique.

Giggs added: “I think every player will want to be involved in this game. You want to play against the best, what we’ve seen against Spain is that they’re a brilliant team.”

It’s the first time that Wales will play at the Principality Stadium in seven years, with Wales looking to be backed by a bigger crowd than they usually get at the Cardiff City Stadium.

“It’s a fantastic game to be involved in. It’s important to get the balance right for the game against Ireland.”

Nations League opponents Ireland will also have a doubleheader, where they will host Denmark and Wales at the Aviva Stadium.

Wales played firs at the Cardiff City Stadium, before travelling to Aarhus on Sunday.

“It’s not easy the turnaround, Ireland’s scenario is different. It isn’t easy that quick turnaround, we’ve got that advantage that we should be fresher.”

The trip to Ireland is Wales’ penultimate UEFA Nations League game, before they play Denmark in November.
