The Welsh Alliance is set to provide an exciting weekend of football with eight games across the two divisions.
Division One provides two head to heads with Llandudno Junction going up against Penrhyndeudraeth and Llanrwst United facing off against Barmouth and Dyffryn. Whilst Division Two throws up six exciting fixtures.
DIVISION ONE
Llandudno Junction vs Penrhyndeudraeth
The league’s bottom Club welcomes a Penrhyndeudraeth side that are currently going through a patchy run of form, with two wins, two losses and one draw in their last five matches. Junction will be able to take a bit of confidence from their last match, where an improved performance saw them narrowly lose to Prestatyn Sports 2-1, but will realise that every match is now crucial if they are to escape the threat of relegation.
Llanrwst United vs Barmouth and Dyffryn
The hosts will be hoping to bounce back from their disappointing 7-1 loss to Bodedern Athletic last weekend, as they welcome a Barmouth Dyffryn side that will also be hoping to bounce back after a defeat to Greenfield in their last match.
DIVISION TWO
Amlwch Town vs Mochdre Sports
It’s a clash between the two teams at the bottom of the division, as Amlwch Town face a Mochdre Sports side that are five points clear of them, but who have played two matches more. Both sides are in bad form, with Mochdre having only won once this season, and Amlwch still yet to earn a single point so far this season.
Blaenau Amateurs vs Holyhead Town
Blaenau Amateurs will be hoping to maintain their breakaway lead at the top of the table, with the side currently sitting seven points clear, as they welcome Holyhead Town, who are sitting in 10th place after seven games. The visitors will be full of confidence after a resounding 8-0 victory against Mochdre Sports in their last league match three weeks ago.
Llannerchymedd vs Llannefydd
It promises to be an enticing affair at Tan Parc, as Llanerchymedd welcome a Llannefydd side just two points ahead of them in the table, and both sides will be aware that a victory will see them sit above their opponents at full time.
Meliden vs Gaerwen
The hosts will be hoping that their run of patchy form has come to an end following last week’s victory at Mochdre Sports. Gaerwen meanwhile, have just three points from a possible 15 heading into the match, and are sitting just two places above bottom in the league.
Penmaenmawr Phoenix vs Aberffraw
This promises to be an interesting match between two sides going through a similar run of form. Both sides won their last match 1-0, with Penmaenmawr Phoenix earning three points at Pentraeth, and Aberffraw defeating Llannefydd.
Pentraeth vs Kinmel Bay
The visitors head into this match aware that a victory will see them keep the pressure on Blaenau Amateurs, with Kinmel Bay currently sitting in second place, just seven points behind league leaders Blaenau Amateurs. The hosts meanwhile, will be hoping to bounce back from two successive defeats at the hands of Blaenau Amateurs and Penmaenmawr Phoenix.
