Former New Saints loanee Ben Cabango is of interest of German giants Bayer Leverkusen and Wolfsburg.
The 18-year-old spent the first half of the season on loan with the Welsh Premier League champions before returning to parent club Swansea City.
The Sun say the German clubs are interested and that he could cost the Bundesliga clubs £2.5m. His contract expires in 2021.
The report says scouts have been watching Cabango and have been impressed with his performances.
He could follow in the footsteps of fellow Wales international Rabbi Matondo, who began his footballing career at a Welsh team, before moving abroad.
The centre-back joined TNS last summer and played in all six of their European games. He scored his first goal in professional football in a 4-0 victory over Macedonian side KF Shkëndija. Cabango played a total of 16 times in the Welsh Premier League.
Since returning to Swansea, he has played four times in the PL2 Division 1. He featured in the Swans’ FAW Youth Cup semi-final victory over arch-rivals Cardiff City.
